Feed Back

Once I finished my magazine to get more feedback I posted my front cover, contents page and double page spread on Face Book to get extra feed back from friends. The information i got is presented below

Double page spread

This is the equipment I worked with to take my pictures.

-Cannon E0S 500D

This is the camera that we used to take the Pictures.

We used this to light up the models for them to be seen clearly in photographs. 

Bowens radio trigger

This is a Trigger which is connected to the light and the camera, when the camera is pressed to take a photo the triggers send a signal to the light to flash at that time of when the picture is being taken. 

60cm Soft Box

 This attached to the lights, the reflective sides within the box reflect the light and make it bounce and controls it creating a softened effect on the model and removing shadows. 

Circulator Reflector

Another person holds this so they can reflect the light on a certain part of the model.

When taking the pictures i think i took a reasonable amount of pictures which helped because it meant i was able to pick different photos and see which ones tied in with my magazine better.

Below you will find pictures that i have taken using the camera given by the teachers and also pictures taken by my own camera. Also with the pictures i experimented with different angles.

Below here's an example of a good picture i took. i didn't use any flashes and used natural lighting.

textual analysis of contents page

The contents page on NME magazine was kept on a single page. The colours they used for their colour scheme was red, black, grey and white and i think these colours go together creating a appealing and simple pallet. The master head here is the word drummer written in bold to draw the attention of the reader as there could be important information for the person to read. On the page they use pictures on the page to reference to what the page is related to. They also contents and the data in big to state what the page is. In this magazine has 114 pages and each section is listed on this page laying it out with sub headings to guide the reader through the magazine. On this page it has many pictures of people with instruments and this shows that this magazine is about music and that it is mainly a rock magazine because the people with the drums.
